In the period from July 2017 to February 2018, the EcoMosaic team has prepared a Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) for mine SASA. The Stakeholder Engagement Plan (SEP) for SASA Mine developed a general framework for the whole mining facility, its current environmental and social impacts on the society and practice and experience on communication with the stakeholders. It is built on SASA’s existing relationships with national and local government officials, NGOs and civil organizations providing a strategy for partnering with potential stakeholders to maintain these relations and to ensure meaningful engagement throughout their business development activities and during emergency events.

The overall objective of the SEP is to provide to Mine SASA a framework for stakeholder engagement including various approaches, tools and methods which can facilitate the installation to coordinate and involve different stakeholders during SASA’s everyday working, business development activities and during emergency events.
